I just helped a Stubbe & Jarchow family researcher with a brief newspaper notice of her ancestor filing for divorce, and a 2nd clipping of the divorce being granted.
These were from the old Milwaukee Journal or Sentinel (I found them using the 19th C. US Newspapers city through MPL).
By the way, the details of which court, or which judge, handled the divorce are important when asking for a copy of a Milwaukee County court file from the Milwaukee County Historical Society. That way the research costs might be reduced as their search through the indexes is shortened.
